+ Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Manager and team in executing marketing campaigns, managing social media presence, coordinating events, and handling administrative tasks to ensure the effective implementation of our marketing strategies.

They are expected to uphold the standards set by Centennial Hospitality Group (CHG) for Quality, Service, Value, Pride, Positive Energy, and Development while assisting in preparing the company for measured and aggressive growth.


+ Essential Job Functions

  • Marketing Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and traditional marketing.
  • Content Creation & Management: Support the creation of marketing materials such as social media posts, blog content, email newsletters, presentations, and website copy. Assist with the organization and maintenance of our content library.
  • Social Media Management: Help manage the company's social media presence by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, monitoring trends, and assisting with content development.
  • Email Marketing: Assist in the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
  • Data Entry & Analysis: Assist with tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance, preparing reports, and identifying key insights.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, processing invoices, and maintaining marketing materials.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Website Updates: Support basic website updates and content management as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and product development, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.
+Expectation of Activity:Schedule:
  • 20-25 hours per week.
  • Nights and weekends as required for community events and engagement.
Work Location:
  • 50% Office
  • 20% CHG Store Properties
  • 30% Field Events

+ Education, Experience, and Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or actively pursuing)
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
  • Experience with social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
  • Knowledge of content management systems and email marketing platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills

+ Physical Duties:

  • Travel:
  • Extensive driving to event and store locations.
  • Frequent travel, potentially including overnight stays.
  • Navigating various terrains and weather conditions.
  • Physical Activity:
  • Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds for an extended period of time.
  • Walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Carrying and transporting sales materials or product samples.
  • Potential for lifting or moving moderate to heavy objects (depending on the industry).
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations:
  • Setting up and dismantling product displays.
  • Physically demonstrating product features.
  • General Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain physical stamina throughout the workday.
  • Adequate vision and hearing for communication and driving.
