The Marketing Assistant will support the Altec Lansing division. This position requires a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive attitude. This person is proactive, organized, and must be able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting market research
Compiling research reports
Working closely with the sales and product development teams to keep abreast of key product launches and brand initiatives
Maintaining the master product deck in Powerpoint, keeping it updated with any new products or removing old products.
Coordinating with internal and external partners on POP retail displays and maintenance/support.
Coordinating with sales teams to ship product samples, providing information, assets, and key timing on upcoming launches
Managing the PR agency, providing them with information, sending out samples, coordinating press releases, etc
Crafting copy for product packaging and product descriptions
Maintaining an internal product information management system
Updating and creating website content
Planning, coordinating, and attending trade shows and media events
Handing various administrative duties as assigned
Support online customer service needs as it relates to online reviews and social media. Work in conjunction with the internal customer service team to solve any related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required with 1-3 years prior experience in consumer electronics marketing preferred
Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks.
Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors (verbal and written.)
Assertive and goal-oriented with positive, high energy
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong project management skills
Strong writing skills
Familiar with Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
