Day to Day Responsibilities The Performance Marketing team is responsible for digital strategy and web experiences, executing and optimizing digital campaigns and landing pages, campaign measurement, and generating insights that support year-over-year improvements. We strive to move at the speed of retail and pride ourselves on the results we get for our members and business partners. The Digital Media Consultant will report to the Manager, Digital Media. In this role, you will act as a paid digital media subject matter expert, consultant, and account/client manager offering your expertise and strategic thinking to the overall organization. As part of the internal agency model, you will develop paid campaigns from ad assets to landing pages from the ground up, working both collaboratively across the enterprise and independently to drive business outcomes.
In this role, you will: - Review market research, competitive data, and historical performance data to build quantitative models to show how the marketing plan supports the achievement of business goals and provide campaign projections.
- Effectively manage and optimize marketing budgets, allocating budgets across channels, markets, and campaigns to achieve maximum ROI and meet acquisition targets.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, conduct in-depth analysis, and leverage insights to refine strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive optimization.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, analytics, web, and product marketing, to ensure alignment of our ad initiatives with overall business objectives and messaging.
- Implement tracking and measurement systems to evaluate the effectiveness of paid media campaigns, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on KPIs and campaign outcomes.
- Deploy complex digital media campaigns, execute tests, collect, and analyze data and results. Identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in campaigns. Create and track display and social media digital acquisition campaigns.
- Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities. Partner with the SEO team to strategize and implement combined SEO/SEM search strategies.
- Coordinate external vendors used to execute media campaigns. Analyze performance and provide oversight on campaign execution.
- Develop and execute experiments, A/B tests, and pilot programs to assess the effectiveness of new marketing strategies and tools.
- Monitor industry trends, platform changes, and new ad technologies to keep the company ahead of competitors and ensure campaigns are utilizing the latest best practices and innovations in paid media.
- Inform and educate internal teams and stakeholders on media best practices and industry changes.
- Project manage the creation and implementation of campaign tactics from ad assets to landing pages.
Your Knowledge and Experience - Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- Is experienced with paid marketing channel management-you can plan/execute/optimize campaigns across at least five different platforms.
- Proficient in managing the delivery of a campaign across multiple channels and web experiences from conception through to implementation.
- Performance and results orientated - you lean into being objective and measuring performance.
- Is a strategic thinker - you ideate, assess, and create the future, considering many factors despite high degrees of uncertainty.
- Is data-minded - you have advanced data analysis skills, a strong understanding of web tracking principles, and basic attribution chops.
- Ability to independently evaluate marketing plans and processes and recommend process improvements. Excellent cross-functional team, project, and organizational leadership skills with attention to details.
- Knowledge of legal, brand, and regulatory compliance requirements for marketing health insurance plans a plus.
- Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Adobe Consumer Journey Analytics is a plus.
- Knowledge of health insurance industry, products, services, and their financial drivers is a plus.
