Marketing and Sales Support Manager - Tech Startup

A dynamic and innovative technology startup is seeking an experienced Marketing and Sales Support Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives and enhance sales operations. Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Development
  • Strategic Planning: Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and product positioning.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage social media strategy, email campaigns, SEO efforts, and paid advertising to maximize online visibility and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and digital content to showcase the company's technology and solutions.
  • External & Internal Communications: Oversee public messaging through website updates, social media, email campaigns, and industry publications. Keep internal teams informed of strategic updates and company developments.
  • CRM & Campaign Management: Utilize HubSpot CRM to oversee marketing campaigns, track engagement, and provide performance insights.
  • Event & Trade Show Management: Plan and execute trade shows, webinars, and company-hosted events, ensuring seamless pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor marketing initiatives, analyze data-driven insights, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
Sales Support & Enablement
  • Sales Materials Development: Equip the sales team with updated decks, presentations, and product/service documentation to enhance client engagement.
  • Lead Generation & CRM Management: Track leads, maintain customer databases, and qualify prospects to support business development efforts.
  • Sales Tools & Reporting: Maintain CRM systems, sales proposals, and performance dashboards to provide actionable insights and track key sales metrics.
  • Client Engagement & Support: Assist the sales team with client presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations as needed.
  • Training & Onboarding: Support new sales team members by providing product training, marketing updates, and CRM usage guidelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on digital strategies, content development, and external communications.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in the technology industry, SaaS, or startup environments.
  • Hands-on and adaptable - able to manage multiple projects in a lean, fast-moving startup setting.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM is required.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including social media management, email marketing, and SEO.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and refine strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution.
  • Collaboration-driven: Able to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure marketing and sales alignment.
