Job Description:
Hello Gravel is expanding fast-and we're looking for someone who thrives on variety, loves creating exceptional customer experiences, and is excited to help build new markets from the ground up. As our Market Launch & Customer Success Manager, you'll play a key role in launching and managing new local markets-starting in the Gulf South.
This is a hybrid role combining customer service, local operations, digital marketing, and boots-on-the-ground supplier relations. You'll be the first hires in this new department and will report directly to the CEO, offering a rare opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing e-commerce company in the aggregates and construction materials space.
Responsibilities:
Market Launch & Setup
- Assist in standing up new Hello Gravel markets across the Gulf South
- Travel to new markets (approx. 1 week/month, varies by need)
- Meet with local haulers and aggregate suppliers to build reliable fulfillment partnerships
Local Digital Presence
- Set up and manage local Google Business Profiles, social media accounts, Yelp/WhitePages listings, etc.
- Oversee local digital marketing efforts and budgets
Offline Marketing Execution
- Deploy local marketing efforts including door hangers, postcards, local event sponsorships, and billboards
- Scout and coordinate advertising placements in each market
Order Fulfillment & Coordination
- Handle inbound calls and emails from customers placing orders
- Coordinate delivery logistics with haulers and suppliers
- Own the customer experience from quote to delivery
- As the markets get stood up the sales and fulfillment piece will ultimately be handed off to our sales & ops department to then continue expanding into new markets
Customer Success & Experience
- Ensure every customer receives top-tier service and support
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently with a solutions-first mindset
- Maintain high communication standards to drive satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements:
- Strong background in customer service or account management
- Comfortable with local travel and on-the-ground market work
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail, especially with scheduling and fulfillment
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Familiarity with digital tools like Google Business, Meta, and basic CRM systems is a plus
- Experience in logistics, delivery coordination, or local marketing preferred but not required
- Landscaping, aggregates, and/or trucking experience is a big plus
- Working for a franchisor as an area manager is a big plus
