About the Role:

Our client-a rapidly growing, privately-owned staffing firm-is seeking candidates for a Market Director position to spearhead growth and team expansion in Austin, Texas.


This Player/Coach role requires leading by example, actively running a full sales desk while developing and mentoring a high-performing team focused on Accounting + Finance, as well as Professional Services (Legal, HR, Admin, etc.).


Responsibilities:

  • Run a full sales desk, personally generating revenue through selling Accounting + Finance, as well as Professional Services (Legal, HR, Admin, etc.) while growing and leading a dedicated sales and recruiting team.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and recruiting team, with plans for ongoing growth.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen existing client relationships and expand market share.
  • Create and maintain a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Balance personal production with strategic team management, ensuring revenue and team performance goals are consistently exceeded.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of proven Business Development success within a Staffing Agency, specifically in either Accounting + Finance, or Professional Services (Legal, HR, Admin, etc.).
  • Prior management experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Polished, professional presence with a strong personal brand.
  • Exceptional LinkedIn presence demonstrating credibility and professional networking strength.
  • Proven record of successful client development, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated passion or involvement in volunteer/community work highly preferred.


Compensation and Perks:

  • Base Salary: $100,000-140,000
  • Estimated 1st Year OTE: $150,000-$200,000+
  • Uncapped commissions plus quarterly bonuses tied to team growth.
  • Annual performance bonuses for exceeding quotas.
  • Additional incentive: Earn lifetime commissions from GP generated by your signed clients across other company divisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Staffing Sales or Search/Full-Desk Recruiting (with a strong business development function) - specifically Accounting + Finance, as well as Professional Services (Legal, HR, Admin, etc.).
  • On-Site 3x per week in Austin, TX office
