Under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Market Development, this field based role serves as a Liaison for Tricity Pain Associates with referring physicians, medical groups, chiropractors, hospitals and other medical facilities. Promotes the extensive, comprehensive clinical services offered by Tricity Pain Associates as well as being responsive to all customer service and patient experience issues in a professional manner. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare, physician needs and operations.
Essential Functions:
- The Market Development Representative will identify potential referral sources such as chiropractors, physicians, attorneys, attorney groups, medical groups, and facilities for the development of referral relationships.
- Complete face-to-face meetings with chiropractors, physicians, attorneys, and attorney groups to promote Tricity Pain Associates
- Develop outreach activities, appreciation programs, educational events, lunches, dinners, etc.
- Perform needs assessment on referral base to identify problems or concerns and offer solutions
- Maintain contact with existing referral sources on a regular basis via telephone, email, in person, or via virtual platforms
- Complete live, in-person meetings with physicians, schedulers, practice managers, referral coordinators and medical staff to ensure that a thorough understanding is gained regarding the physician and medical staff needs
- Collaborate with our clinic providers in meetings, lunches and business relationship building
- Notify the Director of departmental gaps or problem areas for resolution and need for escalation to operations and/or clinical services
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Produce weekly reports on your activity/lunches/events within the market
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably healthcare environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Experience with Durable Medical Equipment sales and/or marketing of Chiropractic Services
- Ability to research, understand and explain healthcare services, volume, utilization, market data, and physician referral pattern
- Competencies for sales efficiency and effectiveness; discipline in goal setting, prospecting, networking, territory management, and time management as well as skills to employ technologies effectively and proficiently
- Track and measure sales and marketing data, report progress to Director, and adjust strategies as needed to meet organizational goals
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills with a customer/patient focus.
- Motivated and driven to achieve high goals and seek continuous improvement in knowledge and skills.
- Must have valid Driver's license and auto insurance in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
