The Marine Supply Specialist position is responsible for supporting all positions in the Marine Supply department.
Marine Supply Specialist Responsibilities include the following: - Frequently check for emailed customer orders and pass information to the appropriate department
- Take orders by telephone and pass to the appropriate department
- Communicate with customers to complete boat orders, calling with any questions regarding substitutions or back-ordered item specifications
- Invoice customer orders in SAP double checking for accuracy
- Assist customer vessel or customer home office with billing questions
- Create, research and/or complete EMIS Multi-Purpose Tracking Form for customer problems
- Collect invoice payments using the credit card machine
- Acquire approval for purchases for EMIS vessels or departments prior to ordering
- Complete requisition or use company credit card to purchase stock items ensuring items are stocked correctly in the warehouse
- Process vendor invoices in SAP, assist AP with problems
- Maintain integrity of company credit card and receipts
- Process credit card receipts in SAP Concur
- Process Chevron orders in SAP and on company website
- Implement new stock items and remove non-selling stock from inventory as needed
- Assist with inventory cycle count, negative balance adjustment, end of month and year end close out procedures
- Check for open reservations in SAP maintenance
- Ensure parts list sheet is updated daily and distributed
- Maintain filing system with invoices and backup paperwork
Marine Supply Secretary Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- Training in SAP Program preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills, detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license
