Marine Project Engineer Job Summary The role involves ensuring smooth project execution from planning to completion, coordinating resources and personnel, including contractors and subcontractors, and managing timelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of urgency, a good understanding of project scope, and the ability to lead teams effectively Marine Project Engineer Responsibilities. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, overseeing planning, execution, and closure.

Lead teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion by managing internal and external resources Allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, contractors) to ensure project success, maintaining coordination among all stakeholders Oversee internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety while providing leadership throughout the project Collaborate with finance to monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure projects stay within financial limits while maintaining quality Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing updates on progress, milestones, and necessary adjustments Identify and address potential risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on schedule and within scope Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing updates on progress, milestones, and necessary adjustments Travel 25%-50% of the time, particularly in the first months for training, site visits, and coordination with other teams and offices. Expect 1-2 weeks of travel per month initially Marine Project Engineer.Position Requirements. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred Project management experience in the marine or industrial sectors, with a focus on shorter-term projects.

Experience working in shipyards, drydocks, or new construction is highly preferred Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems is advantageous
