Pay Range: $26.54 - $30.77/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Sign on Bonus: $5,000 after first 6 weeks.
- Hours: On-call required; 14 days on and 7 days off ; Expect to work 12-16 hours/day.
- OT: Guaranteed 48 hours weekly, regardless of workload.
- Techs must be available anytime, day or night, with the ability to be to the shop within 30-60 minutes.
- Techs will take drive their own vehicle to the shop and then ride with another tech to the job site in a service truck. Only senior level technicians are allowed to have work vehicles.
- A sea trial must be done after every repair, so candidates must be open to sea trials.
- Initially, all travel will be within 2 hours of the shop, east and west along the gulf coast following where the ship is at.
- As technicians become more advanced, further travel and eventually even international travel is possible (higher level), so a TWIC card and passport are a plus, but not required.
- Interviews will consist of a phone screen with the recruiter. If selected to move on, candidates will then participate in a 90-minute video interview with the hiring team.
