Job Description
We are seeking a motivated manufacturing technician to test and troubleshoot complex electrical breaker assemblies and systems. This role involves following technical procedures and ensuring product quality. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of related electrical and mechanical experience. This job is fully on-site in Norfolk, VA and the work schedule will be 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime is not expected but may be required at times.
Essential Functions:
Test and troubleshoot electrical breaker assemblies, subassemblies, and systems using quality procedures.
Perform Factory Acceptance Tests and document results.
Identify non-conforming materials and initiate Material Discrepancy Reports.
Program and verify integrated circuits; propose changes to test documents.
Support engineering with First Article and Qualification testing as needed.
Analyze and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Operate general electronic test equipment and document test failures accurately.
Collaborate with departments professionally and complete tasks within deadlines.
Compensation: $22/hr to $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
