Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Department performs small and large operations, including but not limited to Buffer Preparation, Cell Culture, Purification, MFG Support and Drug Product Manufacturing activities in our RTP Facility. This associate will contribute to the commercial execution for viral vectors, establishing state-of-the-art manufacturing operation. This position is primarily day shift, including occasional holidays and weekends but could be adjusted to cover the potential workload. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for commercial manufacturing

  • Identifies areas for process improvements / procedure revisions as applicable

  • Assists in the review & creation of operation documents by providing input to technical composition of documents.

  • Operates on the manufacturing floor in accordance with cGMP's and standard operating procedures.

  • Prepares equipment for manufacturing operations and monitors equipment to ensure process specifications are met.

  • Uses and maintains bench top equipment in accordance with relevant procedures.

  • Effectively demonstrates understanding of cGMPs & applies to specific responsibilities.

  • Follows accurate oral & written procedures when operating production equipment & performing processing steps.

  • Maintains orderliness of process area.

  • Practices safe work habits and adheres to Resilience's safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Assists in training of new and junior staff.

  • Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.

  • Performs timely and thorough batch record review

  • Escalates issues related to product and safety to senior staff.



Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience in cGMP manufacturing environment
2. Experience with Good Documentation Practices
3. Communicates well with team members and cross functionally.

Preferred Qualifications
1. High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years in cGMP manufacturing environment or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience
2. Ability to work weekends, including holidays as scheduled
3. Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $21.50 - $32.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
