Your Role

Provide support for the manufacturing of products, in the large-scale Proteins, Enzymes & Nucelotides, group according to established protocols. Perform operations in support of the group and department.

Responsibilities:
  • 1st Shift - 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. (rotational). Rotational schedule entails alternating between 3 day and 4 day work weeks
  • Move materials, supplies and equipment in and out of department
  • Set-up, prepare and manufacture products according to current manufacturing procedures
  • Communicate and document status of processes, products, and equipment
  • Comply with safety policies and quality systems


Physical Attributes:
  • Occasional lifting and pushing of up to 50 pounds


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in life science manufacturing or laboratory work

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of college coursework in Chemistry, Biology, or other Science discipline
  • Basic laboratory skills
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and math
  • Strong practical knowledge of production and analytical equipment
  • Knowledge of chemical handling methods and ISO quality Standards
  • Strong and written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Moderate computer literacy
