We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering and a proven track record in high-volume manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in lean systems, particularly the Toyota Production System (TPS), and apply those principles to streamline material flow, reduce inventory, and increase throughput.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain across procurement, inventory control, internal material movement, and shipping. Your work will directly support the company's efforts to improve operational efficiency, uphold supplier quality standards, and achieve financial performance targets.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring exceptional cross-functional communication, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and influence supplier partnerships to support Just in Time (JIT) delivery models.
- Mentor value streams in the application of TPS principles for supply chain optimization
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies tailored to high-volume manufacturing and JIT delivery
- Forecast demand and create detailed inventory plans using lean and data-driven approaches
- Manage global and local vendors to ensure JIT material availability and supplier quality
- Champion and maintain robust inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs
- Standardize and enforce supplier quality practices aligned with JIT goals
- Serve as the primary contact for quality and compliance audits
- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts across the supply chain
- Directly manage receiving, internal movement, stockroom operations, and outbound shipping
- Drive KPI improvement in areas such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and production uptime
