MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR (Wages are very competitive for our area, and pay will be depending on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Accountable for implementing the production plan and achieving manufacturing objectives within the designated department, utilizing all personnel, materials, and equipment to deliver a high-quality product that is constructed and dispatched within the stipulated timeframe.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION: (Those without minimum experience requirements need not apply)

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience to be considered.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience . Those with 3+ years of experience will be given priority for interviews.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Hold regular departmental meetings to communicate schedules, and company/departmental news, and discuss issues/resolutions.
• Allocate personnel as necessary to meet production needs most efficiently.
• Ensure that all reviews are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure personnel within the department are cross-trained to ensure absences, vacations, etc. will create minimum disruption to the department.
• Adequately ensure the safety of all department employees, including providing safety training, eliminating hazards, monitoring work conditions, ensuring good housekeeping, and maintaining security against unauthorized access.
• Ensure the maintenance of safety-related documentation and the completion of requisite reports.
• Manage employee attendance and maintain records.
• Use good management practices to retain personnel.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to. Maintain rework report and corrective actions taken to eliminate the root cause.
• Manage departmental overtime according to policy.
• Ensure the department enforces policies consistently and fairly.
• Maintain company procedures related to tracking budget/expenditures within the department.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
