Job Summary: The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating production operations to ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. This role involves overseeing production staff, maintaining safety standards, managing resources, and optimizing production processes to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and monitor production schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Identify and resolve issues related to production, machinery, and processes.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of raw materials and resources.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Qualification /bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and IT systems.
