Job Summary: The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating production operations to ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. This role involves overseeing production staff, maintaining safety standards, managing resources, and optimizing production processes to meet organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and monitor production schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to production, machinery, and processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on manufacturing performance.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of raw materials and resources.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Qualification /bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and IT systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
