A commercial Real Estate and Investment Group in Chino, CA, is looking to add a property accountant. This person will be responsible for a commercial portfolio of 2 shopping centers with 60 tenants. You must be fluent in Mandarin and English.

Experience with real estate property accounting and yardi is preferred.

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Property Accountant to join our growing team in the Accounting + Finance industry. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Property Accountant, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that are crucial to our financial operations. These include:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of properties.
2. Performing CAM reconciliations and preparing annual tenant CAM reconciliations within the deadlines.
3. Processing and recording all property-related financial transactions in Yardi.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
5. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
6. Collaborating with property managers to develop budgets and forecasts.
7. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory reporting requirements.
8. Identifying and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in the accounting process.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this pivotal role, you need to meet the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a proven track record of success.
3. Proficiency in Yardi and experience with CAM Reconciliations are essential.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.
6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
8. A solid understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory reporting requirements.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
