Overview Manufacturing Process Engineer We are currently searching for a highly motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to support Operations which includes Production, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts across multiple departments. This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and is a key supporting function for cross-department collaboration and communications to ensure successful manufacture of new and existing products. Responsibilities As Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will: Improve quality and efficiency within Operations and Manufacturing processes Develop and improve manufacturing processes by creating work instructions, fixtures, and shop aids Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), driving pilot builds of new products. Write reports and resolve issues to enable effective Production release Lead and support implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to product design engineers Identify and resolve product quality issues Validate and execute processes and engineering changes Provide technical training on NPI and changes to processes Partner and collaborate with other departments to increase quality and efficiency within Operations Qualifications Must-Have: Minimum five years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer (or similar role) or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (or related discipline) Minimum three years of experience in leading manufacturing process improvement projects Formal training and strong experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other problem-solving tools Strong experience in creating documentation for work instructions, procedures, and technical reports Strong experience in creating shop aids such as fixtures and visual aids Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI Experience in using CI tools such as Value Stream Maps, SPC, PFMEA, 5S Excellent communication skills; Ability to clearly and concisely explain technical and conceptual ideas Efficient knowledge of MS Office including Visio Familiarity with SolidWorks, Creo, or other 3D modeling software Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally for typically less than one week at a time Applicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR") or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") must be US Persons per ITAR 120.15 and EAR 772.1 (i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or admitted to the U.S. as an asylee or refugee), or be otherwise eligible to obtain required authorization from the U.S. Government to access controlled information. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
