We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer, to join Kirk Key Interlock Company, LLC, which is part of the Sentric Safety Group.

Job Summary:
Provide technical expertise and direct support to set up capacity planning, enhance production efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. This role collaborates with production and other internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and innovative manufacturing processes and process improvements.
Essential Duties:

- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for ERP system.
- Manage and integrate manufacturing processes to ensure accurate data flow and efficient operations.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with leaders and production teams to design manufacturing lines and flows in line with lean methodologies.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to reduce cycle time, minimize waste, and improve throughput.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and production delays.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, downtime, and material utilization to ensure high-quality production outputs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Establish and maintain documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and changes.
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for all new and existing products.
- Specify and design jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing tools.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including production, quality, and engineering to achieve overall company goals.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field. 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering required. Prior experience in process improvements with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production processes. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing lines/flows with lean methodologies and processes.
- Proficiency in manufacturing data management and analysis tools.
- Strong ERP systems knowledge and experience.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, VSM, 6 Sigma and other lean tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and drive change management in a manufacturing setting.
