The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for 2nd shift and 3rd Shifts.
Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.
Wage and Benefits - Starting labor rate of $28.95/hr. (Shift differential included)
- $300 sign-on bonus after three months
Key Accountabilities - Adheres to all food safety and personal safety requirements.
- Maintains food processing, building and facility equipment through field commonly accepted techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and develop a plan to repair the failure.
- Provides maintenance support to Production Operations Group with quality repairs and excellent performance.
- Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
- Research parts status, alternative vendors and substitution parts in concert with the Parts Room Clerk.
- Submits preventative maintenance, calibration, verification and other such documentation in a timely manner.
- Reports actual and potential food and personal safety problems/concerns to management immediately.
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
Minimum Requirements - A successful candidate will have an Associate degree or 3-5 years' experience in the maintenance.
- Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 75lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
- Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
- Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
- Some departments require candidate to fabricate and create food-grade welds using MIG, TIG and stick on various metals.
