Duration: 12 months contract
Shift Hours: 7- 4 PST + OT as needed
Job Description:
- This is a fast-paced, onsite role focused on warehouse, inventory, and auditing functions.
- The position involves preparing systems for shipment, working within cleanroom environments, and using SAP tools for inventory tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final quality audits before the shipment of systems, upgrades, and miscellaneous kits.
- Audit materials against Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure packaging quality and proper labeling.
- Conduct visual checks on part quality and consolidate piece parts into designated shipping bins.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Control, Dock personnel, and Packing contractors.
- Use SAP for tracking and documentation of audits and inventory activity.
- Maintain Plant Clearance audit records and resolve issues in partnership with engineering teams.
- Wear PPE and work in cleanroom environments when necessary.
- Support plant clearance improvement initiatives and offer process enhancement suggestions.
- Assist in training and onboarding new hires.
Experience:
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and auditing.
- Previous work with shipping/receiving processes and physical inventory handling.
- Familiarity with quality checks and shipment inspections.
- Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments is a plus (not required).
- Comfortable lifting, sorting, and managing material flow across departments.
Skills:
- Technical Tools: Proficient in SAP (required), Oracle (preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Inventory Management: Skilled in using SAP for tracking, labeling, and part auditing.
- Quality Assurance: Capable of final inspections, packaging evaluation, and resolving shipment issues.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve quality or inventory issues efficiently.
- Adaptability: Able to multitask in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and temperature-variable environment.
- Additional Skills: Experience operating forklifts and performing physical work under tight deadlines.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional certifications in warehouse operations, inventory control, or SAP use are a plus.
