Responsibilities: - Support & Improve Manufacturing Processes: Identify and implement process improvements, conduct root-cause analysis, and help optimize product flow and quality.
- Hands-On Equipment Setup & Programming: Set up, operate, and train others on production automation equipment; support installation and calibration of new machinery.
- Facilities & Maintenance Oversight: Handle preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment/facility issues, and coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
- Create & Maintain Documentation: Write clear assembly procedures, maintain PM logs, and manage technical records for equipment and process changes.
- Technical Training & Cross-Functional Support: Train production staff on procedures and tools, support lean manufacturing practices, and help manage tooling and spare part inventory.
- Lean Thinking & Continuous Improvement: Actively look for waste reduction opportunities, collect production data, and collaborate with teams to make scalable improvements.
Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with PCB assembly, soldering, adhesives, and automation systems
- Understanding of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with CAD software and mechanical design tools
- Solid communication and troubleshooting skills
- U.S. Citizenship required (must be eligible for U.S. Government Security Clearance)
- High school diploma required; technical degree or certification preferred
