Job Summary + The Manufacturing Engineer Technician performs daily support tasks needed by production. This could include set-up, adjustments, and daily follow-up of Manufacturing Engineer project tasks. + They create, or find and evaluate, better and more efficient ways to manufacture our products, which involves techniques, processes, and procedures. + The Manufacturing Engineering Technician's main goal, in all of the manufacturing phases, is the same: continuous improvement of product quality through leaner concepts and activities. Where is the work: This position has been designated as On-Site. What you will do: + Aid in the development of manufacturing process concepts for Sheet Metal Fabrication. + Manage objectives and tasks as assigned. + Trouble shoot processing machines. + Compile and analyze statistical process control data. + Aid in the design and purchase process gauging. + Assist onsite contractor. + Support the development and maintenance of process documentation. + Support asset care and reliability programs. + Aid in the implementation of projects. + Investigate quality / manufacturing process concerns and aid in finding solutions. + Investigate improvements to existing equipment and hardware to improve quality and performance processes. + Comply with all safety policies and procedures. + Support MDI team and process of problem solving and continuous improvement. Compensation: Base Pay Range: $ Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
