We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support both Engineering and Production functions while contributing to operational and strategic objectives. This role will focus on ensuring technical and project milestones are achieved to meet performance expectations across internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance manufacturing methods, product designs, fabrication techniques, tooling, assembly processes, and quality systems.
  • Lead capital improvement projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement strategies, including equipment troubleshooting, procurement of fixtures and supplies, risk assessments, and safety upgrades.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and refinement of manufacturing processes, CNC tooling programs, and related equipment.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve production issues.
  • Provide direct floor-level support, develop detailed work instructions, and assist in real-time issue resolution while fostering strong internal relationships.
  • Create and revise technical drawings related to tooling and fixture development.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Utilize lean methodologies to improve workflow, visual controls, 6S practices, TPM, SMED, and productivity.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators related to equipment and preventative maintenance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; experience with tooling and fixture design preferred.
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Experience with PLC systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or TS16949 standards is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing principles in process development.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and industry specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and handle multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
