A Manufacturing Engineer job in Walker, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer that has experience in stamping and fixtures.You will be designing progressive stamping dies for low to high volume production of complex tolerance products.
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design high precision progressive stamping dies for low to high volume production of complex tolerance products
- Collaborate with the engineers and technicians to execute manufacturing projects
- Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team
- Research and recommend the purchase of new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment
- Design and deploy manufacturing/operations equipment controls and data acquisition infrastructure in alignment with company's network infrastructure standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
- Experienced with stamping, gages and fixtures
- Knowledge of commonly stamped metals
- Knowledge of 3D CAD;
