Manufacturing Engineer

Our Marysville, OH location is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us? THE POSITION Manufacturing Engineer, ContiTech USA, Inc., Marysville, OH: Improve manufacturing processes by driving new process technology. Provide technical support for manufacturing concerns and continuous improvement ensuring projects are completed on time. Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. Process data collection and analysis to make data-based decisions and implement corrective actions and focus on sustainability. Control of non-conforming material flow throughout the plant; work closely with shift quality engineer and area mangers. Provide costumer concern support and corrective actions. Ensure supplier correction action effectiveness for all incoming material concerns. Participate in Kaizen events, layered audit and internal audit process. Validation and release of processes for new products and engineering changes working closely with product development engineers maintenance and area managers to improve efficiency of operations. Developing specification for products industrialization. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following: Providing technical support for rubber industrial processes; Problem solving using quality tools, including Six Sigma and Lean; Write procedures for manufacturing processes, analyze manufacturing data, give presentations on data and processes; Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience working with manufacturing processes; Creating manufacturing efficiencies by eliminating waste of materials and resources in a lean manufacturing process environment; Working with different parts of the rubber manufacturing process, including processing, storage, transportation, contamination, disposition, FIFO and waste management; Applying quality standard ISO 9001 or other standards related to rubber products manufacturing; and Overseeing conveyor belt quality testing performed by quality technicians to ensure compliance with customer and international rubber products manufacturing.
