Role and Overview:
We have 25 layers asset in our business and they would be responsible over all of those from programming quality, safety and velocity metrics. So biggest opportunity within our business is really tooling cost. So they would be very strong with doing analysis on their inserts and how their weekly cost run rate in their area is either trending positive or negative and have good root cause corrective actions to adjust and make improvements within the area.
We are implementing some new inserts to this area. So there is some continuous improvements activities related to those as we continue to add those to more machine with different tooling as well.

8-10 years experience required
Willing to accept Associate's degree with 12+ years' experience

About this Role:
- Hands on support of 20 lathes on fast paced environment with demanding tooling requirements.
- Ability to setup Computer Aided Machining (CAM) from ground up
Typical task breakdown:
- Review consumable use from previous day
- Modification to CNC programs
- Generation of component prints based on CMM results
Interaction with team:
- Daily communication with Operations, quality, and onsite leadership
- Communicate concerns to upstream process owners
- Participate in daily BIQ and stand up meetings
