Hands on experience in shop floor processes highly preferred: Machining, inspection, peening, thermal plasma spray, water jet stripping, tool design, etc.
Aerospace experience
Lean manufacturing experience, Green Belt certification, or RedX training
Experience in SAP
Experience writing, approving, and issuing work instructions within Solumina environment.

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Process Control Engineer within the Connecticut Stators and Components (CTSC) business unit. You will play a pivotal role in supporting some of the fastest-growing profit and loss repair cells within East Hartford Repair Operations (EHRO). Your responsibilities will include leading new repair development and continuous process improvements, driving on-time delivery and profitability enhancements, and providing daily technical support to the shop floor to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges that arise. You will develop and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods across products under your ownership. Additionally, you will manage projects, lead business progress initiatives, and spearhead lean manufacturing, project management, and quality improvement efforts. Your role will also involve selecting and introducing new capital equipment to enhance cell business metrics, supporting daily WIP control, optimizing process flow, and conducting business unit performance reviews to improve metrics such as turn-around-time (TAT) and on-time delivery (OTD).
