Our client, a leading FMCG business based near Corby, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join their team on a 6-9-month fixed term contract. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations and you'll work closely with the Site General Manager and a dedicated finance team to provide actionable insights, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial operations in a high-SKU manufacturing setting.
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, to inform decision-making.
Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Partner with key stakeholders, including site operations and procurement teams, to optimise profitability and drive efficiencies.
Provide commercial insights to enhance site performance and support the introduction Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Oversee the costing process for new and existing products, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a financial role within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector (essential).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
While formal qualifications (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) are advantageous, they are not essential for this role.
On offer:
Contract: 6-9 months FTC
Salary: 50k- 60k, depending on experience
Location: Corby (full-time, onsite)
