Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual milling machines to produce precision parts
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds as needed
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC manual milling machine operator
- Proficiency in using Bridgeport and XYZ SMS200
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Day-to-day
- Receive work instructions and blueprints
- Set up and calibrate milling machines
- Execute machining operations according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
