Circa £35,000 (£18ph) + Shift Premiums + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension (5% Employee, 4% Employer) & Life Assurance (7x Salary) + Training and Development
Monday to Friday (Early Shift, Late Shift & Night Shift)
Manual Machinist required for an industry leading engineering and repair company based in Falmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are experts in the marine industry and can offer the opportunity to develop and progress.
This role would suit an experienced Manual Machinist and candidates from any manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment are encouraged to apply. You will need experience with lathes and/or milling machines and/or boring machines.
The successful candidate will work within a team to machine tools used to manufacture components and parts used on ships.
The Manual Machinist Role:
Setting up and operating tools such as lathes, milling machines and vertical and horizontal boring machines
Working from engineering drawings
Machining parts to precise tolerances using appropriate tools and techniques
The Manual Machinist Candidate:
Experience with manual machining
Experience with lathes and/or milling machinist and/or boring machines
