Job Description
MANDEX Communications Network Engineer Mid RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: - Evaluating communication hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting Local Area Network/Base Area Network/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WANs) and other network related problems.
- Administering LAN/BAN/WANs. Scheduling conversions and cutovers.
- Coordinating with all responsible users and sites
EXPERIENCE: - A minimum of 4 (four) years' specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and test of complex large scale computer integrated networks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alone or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with individuals including government and site personnel as well as other MANDEX team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds while performing onsite tasks.
TRAVEL: - Travel up to 30% of the time. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
SECURITY: Active DoD Secret Clearance
EDUCATION: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification required
- CCNA or other OEM network support certification required.
