Dedicated Mandarin Teacher Wanted in Kensington. Forward-Thinking Secondary School
Location: Kensington Role: Mandarin Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Mandarin lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level.
- Inspire students to develop strong Mandarin language skills and a deep appreciation for Chinese culture.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Mandarin curriculum within a forward-thinking context.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Mandarin.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular language clubs or cultural exchange programs.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mandarin.
- Degree in Mandarin or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mandarin at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin and a strong knowledge of Chinese culture.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Mandarin within a forward-thinking framework.
- A commitment to fostering a love of language learning and intercultural understanding within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
