About the Role

Foxconn is seeking a Business Development & Key Account Manager to support ongoing business activities between Foxconn's Houston Business Team and HP's Product Business Management Team. This role is a mix of business development, key account management, and technical sales, requiring a strong understanding of computer components and cost structures.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable working with executive leadership and technical stakeholders, and thrives in global collaboration across multiple operations teams. They should have a sales or business management background with experience in product pricing, RFQ processes, and customer engagement.

This role requires extensive international travel (4-6 weeks between Taiwan & China) and a collaborative mindset, as success depends on teamwork rather than individual leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Foxconn Houston Business Team and HP Product Business Management.
  • Manage sustaining programs, new product RFQs, and various customer requests.
  • Support ongoing business activities and ensure alignment between customer needs and internal teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Foxconn's China Business Team, Program Management, and Operations Teams.
  • Align cost, program, and product information across different stakeholders.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and deliver presentations to both executive leadership and individual contributors at HP.
  • Facilitate meetings across time zones with internal and external partners.
  • Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Understand electronic component costs and pricing structures to support RFQs and product positioning.
  • Provide insights on business trends, cost optimizations, and market dynamics.
  • International Engagement & Travel
  • Travel frequently to Taiwan & mainland China (4-6 weeks annually) to strengthen supplier and customer relationships.
  • Adapt to diverse business cultures and work environments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, business management, account management, or a similar field.
  • Experience with or understanding of electronic component costs is a plus.
  • Technical & Business Acumen:
  • Strong working knowledge of PC architecture and design.
  • Understanding of cost structures related to electronics manufacturing.
  • Soft Skills & Communication:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills for both in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Global Collaboration & Travel:
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English (highly preferred).
  • Willingness to travel to Taiwan and mainland China, with extended stays (1-2 months per trip).
