Mandarin Language Analyst NRNJ with Security Clearance

Job Description Position Description Linguist will read, triage, review, summarize and translate large amounts of data in source-language. The linguist will conduct supplementary research from foreign language sources on equipment and technologies identified. The linguist should have familiarity with tasking, data collection, legal/law and narcotics. Part time linguist to support translations of customer related material. Work will be performed during ordinary hours (e.g., 8-5) in an ordinary work week (Monday-Friday). Must be able to get along in a diverse team in a fast-paced environment with high stakes outcomes. Minimum Qualifications
• Must be a U.S. citizen and provide a copy of your U.S. Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
• B.A./B.S. (U.S. or country of language skill)
• 7+ years of relevant experience to include: o Review and revise written products for correctness of written expression. o Review and revise products for accuracy and completeness of information and written expression. o Summarize pertinent details of text or recorded material in an easily digestible format. o Sorting documents and material by importance and determining how they should be processed/routed.
• Must pass language testing with ILR 4 in translation (CM>EN), 4/4/4 in speaking, listening, reading, and 3+ in interpretation. NOTE: You may NOT be in process for a position on 'BEACON' or 'LAMP3' with any other company.
