Position:
We seek highly organized and bilingual Mandarin Chinese-English-speaking Paralegals to join our immigration legal team. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of licensed attorneys in the United States, supporting Employment-Based Green Card petitions, particularly EB2-NIW and EB1A categories.
This legal support position focuses on case preparation, translation, document analysis, and coordination with clients and attorneys. You will assist in preparing immigration-related documentation and managing bilingual records for foreign professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in compiling supporting documentation for EB2-NIW and EB1A cases.
- Translate and prepare Turkish-language documents (academic, professional, legal) for use in U.S. immigration petitions.
- Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure data confidentiality.
- Communicate with clients in Mandarin-Chinese and English to collect information, documents, and clarifications.
- Follow legal and procedural instructions provided by supervising attorneys.
- Conduct administrative and research tasks as needed to support case development.
- Help ensure all submitted documents meet USCIS formatting and content standards.
Qualifications:
- Native or fluent Mandarin-Chinese speaker with strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Degree or background in Law, International Relations, Translation, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle legal documentation.
- Prior experience with U.S. immigration processes or legal office support is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while following structured legal protocols and team guidance.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client information.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with U.S. immigration forms and procedures (I-140, I-485, ETA-9089, I-131, I-765, etc.).
- Experience handling Mandarin-Chinese educational or governmental documents.
- Legal research and document organization experience.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
