Position: Manager, Technical Services

Job Duties:

  1. Troubleshoots and diagnoses system issues for external and internal customers and provides a resolution in an efficient and timely manner in the areas of the SYNKROS application, interfaces, or database.
  2. Assist the project management office to schedule SYNKROS rollout at customer locations with the accurate personnel needed for the project including the management of resources to ensure upgrades are effective.
  3. Assist management in improving the process and interaction with the solution engineering team, groups and customers. This includes providing mentoring to an installation team of application experts and database administrators to aid in bringing efficiency to the SYNKROS database.
  4. Contact customers and/or vendors when necessary and aid in SYNKROS related issues and report any discrepancies, changes, recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to senior management.
  5. Identify bugs across SYNKROS and report these to the steering and/or enhancement committees for approval to perform an upgrade to current version ensuring that the correct approve code is pushed.
  6. Maintain contact and communication with Research & Development to keep visibility on all new functionality from each development cycle. This includes the recommendation of SYNKROS bug fixes.
  7. Collaborate with internal groups to maintain and develop new tools to be used within Customer Service to aid in quick and efficient resolutions ensuring they meet customer expectations.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related. Employers will accept advance degree if in the same field.

Experience Requirements: 60 months of experience in job offered, Manager, Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineer, or closely related

Special skills requirements:
  1. Development of proprietary products for the casino industry and involved in analyzing, architecting, and designing key product features.
  2. Involved in creation/review of functional requirement specifications and supporting documents for business systems, experience in database design process and data modeling process.
  3. Lead team of engineers in the successful roll out of Various proprietary products for the casino industry across different customers. This includes developing and maintaining project plans, identified risks, and implemented mitigation strategies, ensuring project milestones were achieved on schedule.
  4. Managed the database within the gaming industry including the regulatory compliance, communication protocols, information security and interface architecture.
  5. Collaborated with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  6. Created the timelines for project, helping the client to adopt hot fixes.
  7. Experience with the following:
    1. Software development, web development, and IT project management
    2. Commercial software development.
    3. Object-oriented programming: Java, SQL,
    4. SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Tableau, HTML


Salary: Available upon request

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
