Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This job assists setting and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for Salesforce capabilities by collaborating with other business partners across the Highmark Health Plan, Sales Leadership, UCD, HMIG, IT, and other Blue Plans. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Director Salesforce Strategy and Consulting to partner and liaison between internal teams, including, but not limited to, Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, Sales Ops, Operations, and Audit. Will perform day-to-day activities that include strategic planning, managing projects/enhancements of business processes and driving operational efficiencies across the platform. As Salesforce is currently our primary system of record that supports not just sales roles, but also functions as a platform for several critical operational business processes, the incumbent will also serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the administration of the Salesforce platform and assist in managing a team of certified Salesforce business admins who will collaborate with IT to deliver projects and explore new capabilities and technology solutions for our users. Will be accountable for ensuring ongoing strategic planning for user adoption, best practices, and training, as well as providing root cause analysis and resolution with IT on technical issues and implementing enhancements, process improvements and reporting capabilities for multiple business units. This includes an ongoing
partnership and collaboration with both UCD and HMIG to ensure alignment on business objectives and priorities to achieve value for the enterprise as a whole.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

- Help to shape the overall strategy for the Sales Operations function as a member of the Sales Operations Management Team. Deliver a cross functional strategic plan to include best practice and success repeatability programs across the sales and technical support organization to improve overall performance with CRM tool. Work closely with the Director and other business partners to ensure that corporate directives and clearly communicated and implemented.
- Translate strategy into operational reality and break down business initiatives into key tasks and identify accountabilities.
- Develop relationships, manage expectations, and communicate with leaders both throughout the organization, as well as with external stakeholders. Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of leadership and executive meetings.
- Compile reports, ad hoc presentations, briefings, and communications for internal and external stakeholders. Lead the reporting analyst(s) by ensuring barriers to that role's success are addressed appropriately (e.g., by interfacing with sales
- directors to drive CRM adoption). Strategically work with various constituencies to develop world class sales and training regimen for both new hires and existing personnel with CRM tool.
- Collaborate proactively with leaders within the Highmark Enterprise to identify opportunities where they can be supported with data and insights collected by the Salesforce business/technology team (e.g., FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Compensation, Adv. Analytics). Ensure that communication of current initiatives, projects and campaigns are accurately, timely, and effectively communicated to all appropriate personnel at all levels and departments.

EDUCATION Required - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
Preferred - Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field
EXPERIENCE Required - 3 years in a management or leadership role
- 3 years in complex, matrixed environments or working in/across multiple business units
- 3 years presenting ideas/solutions to leadership
- 3 years in a Business Analyst role
- 3 years with insurance products
Preferred - 3 years in a Consulting role
- 3 years with Reporting
- 3 years with Salesforce
LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required - Salesforce Certified Administrator
Preferred - PA Insurance Producer License - Accident & Health
