PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $84,300.00-$103,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $65,700.00 - $121,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Achieve Sales and Service Goals: Drive membership, deposit, and loan growth by actively engaging with the community and aligning your team to meet established goals.
  • Develop Your Team: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to encourage and enhance employee performance. Help team members build skills and plan for career growth.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations: Meet regularly with team members to assess performance using BECU competencies, ensuring continuous improvement and success.
  • Ensure Outstanding Member Service: Lead the team to deliver timely, accurate, and exceptional service to all members, fostering satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Optimize Operations: Manage branch service levels, review reports, analyze performance, and adjust schedules to meet forecasted member volumes effectively.
  • Promote Brand Awareness: Build the BECU brand and value proposition within the community to drive awareness, membership, and production opportunities.
  • Set and Maintain Standards: Establish clear expectations for sales and service excellence, recognizing achievements while addressing areas for improvement.
  • Manage the Branch Budget: Assist in developing and managing the branch's annual budget, ensuring expenses align with approved levels.
  • Foster Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with staff, members, business partners, and property management to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations while ensuring ongoing training for team members.
  • Oversee Facilities Management: Serve as the primary contact for facilities and property management to uphold BECU's environmental brand standards.
  • Recruit Top Talent: Partner with Recruiting to identify and hire exceptional candidates who will thrive in the branch environment.
  • Promote Collaboration: Communicate effectively across departments to ensure the seamless exchange of information and alignment with Credit Union goals.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Strive for process and service quality enhancements to achieve the highest levels of member satisfaction.
  • Adapt to Additional Responsibilities: Take on new duties as needed to support branch success and overall organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required.
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience required.
  • Minimum four years of experience in a sales, retail, or banking environment required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Financial institution experience preferred.
  • Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong training, mentoring, and sales skills.
  • Excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
  • Effective relationship development and marketing skills.
  • Ability to motivate and train staff in sales/service environments.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
