Job Title: Manager, Real Estate Development Department: Administration Reports to: Director of Real Estate Development

Job Summary: The Manager, Real Estate Development will be a member of the FC Cincinnati Real Estate Development team, reporting directly to the Director of Real Estate Development. The position will oversee the management of real estate development and construction projects including but not limited to projects for the Mercy Health Training Center, TQL Stadium and West End Mixed-Use. This role will include site selection, financial analysis, design, construction oversight, and project turnover. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in real estate development and construction management, with a passion for sports and an understanding of the unique needs of professional athletic organization. What You'll Do: Site Selection & Acquisition:
  • Site analysis, feasibility studies, and due diligence for new development projects, including zoning, environmental impact, and land use considerations.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents, brokers, and legal teams on site acquisition and contract negotiations.
Project Planning & Design:
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop project designs that align with the team's operational and brand requirements.
  • Oversee planning, entitlement, and permitting processes to ensure project compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Conduct financial modeling and pro-form analysis for development and construction budgets.
Construction Management:
  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and address any on-site issues or changes to scope.
  • Track and report on project status, risks, and financial performance to internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Communicate project goals, timelines, and key updates to executives, ensuring alignment across all departments.
Project Closeout:
  • Ensure timely project turnover, including punch list management, final inspections, and occupancy permits.
  • Coordinate the handover of operational and facility management documentation to the team's operations and facilities staff.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate development, construction management, engineering, architecture, urban planning, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or construction management.
  • Experience managing large, complex development projects from site selection to turnover.
  • Experience in sports facility or mixed-use development is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
  • Excellent financial analysis and budgeting skills, with the ability to create pro formas and manage project budgets.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
