FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The Manager of Volunteer Services is responsible for the overall management of the volunteer program's staff, volunteers, and gift shops, throughout the Region. Sets annual goals, monitors, and ensures progress.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 3 years previous experience successfully coordinating a volunteer program and/or supervising employees is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience successfully coordinating a volunteer program is preferred. Experience in community engagement programs/activities is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: A bachelor's degree is required. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience may be considered.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proven success in working with people and experience working with volunteers or volunteer organization. Superior organizational skills, with attention to detail. Professional demeanor in correspondence (in person, on the phone, email). Ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Experience in relationship building, basic accounting principles, and managing a volunteer database and POS system.
