Manager of Technical Accounting
Remote to FL & EST only
Compensation: $120 000 - $140 000 plus bonus
ABOUT THE COMPANY AND MANAGER OF TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a PE backed organization, who has grown tremendously, is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting efforts of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER OF TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, tax rate calculations, and forecasts while providing actionable insight to management
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to develop data reporting strategies, and enhance reporting models
- The Manager of Technical Accounting will lead the coordination of financial statement audits, budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Oversee the reporting processes
- Support external audits, tax preparation, and year-end activities
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MANAGER OF TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Workday proficiency
- Self-starter mindset with the initiative to promote change when needed.
Preferred:
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Workday experience (+)
- Big 4 or large regional Audit background (+)
- Strong proficiency in US GAAP, internal controls
