Lynden Incorporated is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Network Communications to work as part of our SeaTac team. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of network operations while managing a team of network engineers and analysts. This position is not safety sensitive.

What you will be doing: Network Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the architecture, configuration, and management of enterprise network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, VoIP, PCN and cloud-based networking.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network operations.
Team Leadership and Supervision
  • Manage and mentor a team of network engineers and analysts.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set team goals, and foster professional development.
  • Coordinate workload distribution and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Network Performance & Security Optimization
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices for network security, access control, and threat mitigation.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to respond to network-related security incidents.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Manage relationships with network service providers, hardware vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align network strategies with business objectives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve performance and security.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMMC, NIST, ISO, SOC).
  • Maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
What we need from you (minimum requirements):
  • 10+ years of experience in network administration or engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Expertise in network protocols, security best practices, and enterprise network management.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise networking solutions.
Preference if you also have:
  • Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent credentials.
Your work schedule:
  • Hybrid schedule with minimum 2 days onsite at our corporate office and 3 days offsite.
    • Live within commuting distance to SeaTac, WA.
    • This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to data centers or remote sites.
  • Available core hours Monday - Friday.
Occasionally may be required to work hours outside the normal schedule.
