A fast-growing manufacturer in the clean technology sector is seeking a Corporate Engineering & Maintenance Manager to oversee key engineering initiatives and site-wide maintenance strategy across multiple U.S. locations. This leadership role will focus on ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing technical operations, and delivering capital projects on time and within budget in a rapidly scaling industrial environment.
The right candidate will be a hands-on, data-driven leader who can balance tactical support with strategic development-driving results through people, process, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional engineering projects, including process improvements, facility upgrades, and capital installations.
- Develop and execute a preventative and reliability-centered maintenance strategy across multiple locations to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Manage and mentor engineering and maintenance professionals, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee department budgets, identify areas for cost optimization, and ensure adherence to quality and safety expectations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and internal operational standards.
- Build and maintain an effective asset management program, including CMMS oversight, inventory control, and inspection schedules.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to source materials and services and manage project execution.
- Collaborate across operations, quality, and supply chain teams to align maintenance and engineering with broader business goals.
- Introduce and apply emerging technologies and best practices to enhance process performance.
- Monitor key metrics and use data analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years in an engineering and maintenance management role within a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong background in project leadership, preventative maintenance systems, and reliability strategies (RCM).
- Hands-on familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance analytics.
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams across multiple sites.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety compliance and regulatory standards.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or advanced technical experience.
- Experience working in renewable energy, high-tech, or advanced materials manufacturing environments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $115,000-$130,000/year depending on experience
