Little League International in Williamsport, Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated and proactive Manager of Infrastructure to join our dynamic Information Technology team to shape the technical direction of our infrastructure and its ongoing support.

This full-time hybrid role in coordination with the Senior Executive, Information Technology, will develop proposals, create and implement policies and procedures, and adhere to industry best practices for IT infrastructure management. This position will collaborate with both technical and business teams to ensure business needs are met efficiently and securely. As a trusted advisor to IT leadership, the Manager of Infrastructure will provide strategic recommendations and technical direction, offering expertise to other departments across the organization.

This full-time exempt position has flexible core hours of Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. ABOUT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL

Located in South Williamsport, PA, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANAGER OF INFRASTRUCTURE AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL:

The Manager of Infrastructure will provide hardware and software support, maintain, install and troubleshoot access control and video surveillance systems, as well as have oversight for the deployment, monitoring, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including server, network, endpoint, and peripheral devices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. May substitute additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 6 (six) to 8 (eight) years of management experience, experience with current enterprise infrastructure and equipment, principles, and practices; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience.
  • A working knowledge of structured cabling, cable plants, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless technologies and configurations.
  • A working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience managing and configuring SaaS, IaaS, and UCaaS/VoIP systems.
  • Must demonstrate good organizational and communication skills in areas of defining outcomes and customer service.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, representatives of other Little League departments.
  • Ability to translate business needs and problems into infrastructure design and provide technical solutions.
  • Ability to work under high pressure circumstances.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless, security technologies, principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 360 Administration.
  • Knowledge of virtualization, VDI and VPN.
  • Maintain security compliance and maintenance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Networking Certification Highly Desirable Cisco or Microsoft Certifications Preferred
