Leidos is looking for a proactive and motivated individual to take on a challenging role in information security to support various naval training and simulation systems, including CIAT (Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense) and Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity plans and goals for the organization.
- Promoting and defending the cybersecurity mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Managing Information Systems (ISs) and maintaining the System Security Policy (SSP) and Supplemental SSPs for all information systems within the facility.
- Creating and updating the Plan of Actions & Milestone (POA&M) in coordination with the SCA.
- Providing guidance on the implementation of security measures as per the SSP.
- Conducting regular audits of ISs and analyzing vulnerabilities from scanning tool results and continuous monitoring tools.
- Coordinating with multiple DCSA representatives and ISSOs to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies and maintain system integrity.
- Facilitating Change and Control Boards, documenting meeting minutes, and approving changes from the cybersecurity perspective.
- Assisting in managing the Authorization and Assessment processes for multiple authorities across various sites.
- Conducting Security Briefings for personnel on Rules, Responsibilities, and Acceptable Use.
Required Education: A BA/BS degree is required. Specific certifications may be substituted for the educational requirement. Candidates must be 8570.1M / 8140 compliant with certifications, preferably holding a CISSP or Associate certification and an RHCSA to achieve an IA Management Level III designation.
Required Experience: - A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience demonstrating the ability to successfully execute the duties and responsibilities of this position.
- Prior experience as an ISSM or ISSO is mandatory.
- Experience with the Linux operating system is required.
- Familiarity with EMASS is essential.
- Must possess a flexible approach and a positive, energetic attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to adapt to changing tasks and work with minimal supervision is vital.
Desired Experience: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, and Service Desk is preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. This pay range is a general guideline only and does not guarantee compensation or salary.
