They are looking for a Director of Financial Reporting that will play a crucial role in their mission by managing their $300 million budget. Responsibilities of the Manager of Financial Reporting:
- Monthly Close reporting - reviewing balance sheets, journal entries, GL, P&L's, variance analysis
- Identify and explain discrepancies or changes in reporting
- Research monthly P&L for the meetings
- Explore and implement strategies to enhance financial reporting and forecasting processes
- Provide materials for the VP's such as year-end audit work papers, financial statements, and footnotes
Qualifications of the Manager of Financial Reporting:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience-Nonprofit is a plus
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Great Plains, MIP, SAP, Power BI is a plus; experience with budgeting tools and advanced Excel skills
