This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the Seattle office-candidates must be located in the greater Seattle area.
Think you have what it takes to be a collaborative, forward-thinking Grange team member? Below is a snapshot of what you'd be responsible for:
- Leading a diverse team of .NET engineers, business analysts, and testers to design, develop, and support company-wide IT solutions built on the Microsoft Full Stack.
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of mission-critical .NET-based web applications used by policyholders, agents, and business partners.
- Collaborating with business partners to analyze complex challenges and deliver IT solutions, including architecture, design, and implementation.
- Monitoring and improving production jobs, system health, and overall system availability, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.
- Driving continuous process improvements through effective communication and solution development with business partners.
- Defining and executing strategic goals for the organization's software systems while evaluating and recommending changes to align with evolving business needs.
What we are looking for in a new team member:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience as a .NET software developer, with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and architecting scalable, high-performance software solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational management.
- Proven track record of managing and prioritizing the delivery of programs and products in an agile environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and motivating team members to reach their full potential.
