Manager, IT Assets Information System Dallas, TX March 14, 2025 > IT Asset ManagerCoppell, TXJob SummaryThe IT Asset Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing assets deployed in our restaurants, data centers, RSC, and in the field. Key function of this role will be management and administration of the data, inventory, and full lifecycles of hardware and software assets that I.T. deploys to our restaurants, team members, and suppliers. This role is critical in ensuring our suppliers maintain appropriate levels of inventory to service break/fix of equipment in our restaurants. This role also will assist in gathering/maintaining information regarding product lifecycles and proposing refresh timing. The role should help eliminate product shrinkage (assets not accounted for) and decreasing insufficient or prevent over-purchasing device inventory. Ultimately would help I.T. make strategic decisions and optimize spending and realizing value of assets. The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for tracking, optimizing, and ensuring compliance of all IT assets, working closely with IT, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to support our mission of providing high-quality I.T. experiences to our restaurants and team members.Your Key Job Functions Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (Servers, iPads, tabletop payment devices, laptops, network equipment, peripherals, and software) across 1150+ restaurants and assets in our data centers and in our RSC Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, repurposing, and decommissioning. Reconciliation of inventory or asset deployment variances by location or per team member (especially important for our restaurants) Management/Auditing of inventory stocking levels at supplier partners maintaining break/fix for our restaurants Ensure efficient reuse of IT assets by implementing standardized procedures for remotely repurposing and redeploying equipment to centers with the highest need. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to facilitate equipment sourcing, repairs, warranties, and end-of-life disposal as applicable. Implement and maintain an IT asset management (ITAM) system to monitor the location, status, and ownership of assets, ensuring accurate and real-time data. Work with IT support teams to verify asset recovery from offboarded team members and facilitate redeployment as needed. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and regulatory requirements, avoiding unnecessary expenses and legal risks. Conduct periodic audits to validate software installations and prevent over-licensing or unauthorized usage. Support compliance with PCI/SOX and IT security standards, ensuring all assets meet security and data protection policies. Develop clear IT asset management policies and best practices to streamline asset tracking and reporting across all locations. Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset deployment, retrieval, and remote repurposing. Train IT support staff and IT managers on asset management best practices to enhance efficiency and accountability. Generate reports and dashboards to provide leadership with real-time insights into IT asset utilization, budgeting, and compliance status. Lead annual asset audits, ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with internal controls. Work with IT security and operations teams to enforce proper asset disposal methods, including data wiping and responsible e-waste recycling. Serve as the primary point of contact for IT asset-related inquiries, supporting team members and support with asset management needs. Coordinate with help desk and IT support teams to resolve asset-related issues, including hardware failures and software licensing requests Will assist with Vendor Management activities when workload requires that will include, but not limited to: Business reviews Stakeholder and supplier surveys Invoice audits SLA compliance and reporting Escalations with suppliers
