Manager, Information Technology

Hybrid, 3 days / week in NYC office.

Compensation: base salary $140K - $150K + bonus 15% - 20% + health benefits, PTO, 401K

Manager, Information Technology Role Summary:

The IT Infrastructure and Executive Support Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure with a primary focus on reliability, security, and compliance. This role provides dedicated, high-level technical support to all employees, the CEO, and executive team, ensuring secure and seamless technology operations across office and remote environments. Key responsibilities include daily support of IT systems, proactive infrastructure maintenance, and long-term projects in compliance, cybersecurity, and system resiliency. Collaboration with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is essential to ensure efficient IT service delivery and alignment with industry standards.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide daily IT support with a focus on Office365, Teams, SharePoint, Citrix, Azure, Intune, and GoDaddy domain management, ensuring efficient issue resolution and minimizing downtime.

Device Configuration and Maintenance: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, MacBook OS, and mobile devices (iPhone) to support optimal performance and reliability for executives and team members.

Hybrid Environment Support: Deliver consistent IT support for users in both in-office and remote settings, assisting with setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure connectivity for all employees and other tenants in the office.

White Glove User Support: Deliver responsive, high-priority technical assistance for ad-hoc requests from the CEO, and executive team, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to their workflow, whenever needed.

Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Actively monitor and respond to security alerts within O365 and related applications, implementing cybersecurity best practices to safeguard data and reduce risks.

Long-Term Projects:

Compliance and Disaster Recovery: Lead annual compliance audits and disaster recovery testing, reinforcing systems and processes to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.

Cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular internal vulnerability assessments, coordinating with MSPs to address findings and continuously improve the organization's security posture.

Infrastructure Resiliency Projects: Manage projects focused on infrastructure resiliency, including data backup, redundancy planning, and system upgrades to enhance reliability and operational continuity.

Mobile and Secure Communication Management: Ensure secure communication channels and mobile connectivity for all employees, executive team, and family members, emphasizing data protection and ease of use.

Required Experience:

Technical Skills and Experience:

• 10-12 years of experience in information technology role (previous experience of close interaction and white glove user support for senior leadership, )

• Proficiency in Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, vSphere, Active Directory, Citrix, Windows 10/11, and Azure.

• Basic PowerShell scripting experience for automation and routine cybersecurity monitoring.

• Hands-on experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure management, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices.

• Experience supporting MacBook OS and iPhone, including secure mobile device management.

• Availability for off-hours support to address urgent technical or security issues as they arise.

Effective Communication Skills: Strong and professional oral and written communication skills to work effectively with all employees, executive stakeholders, and MSPs. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simpler terms to stakeholders of different levels of seniority and technology experience.

Technical Support Expertise: Proven experience providing technical support within a hybrid environment, with a commitment to resolving IT issues efficiently.

Infrastructure and Compliance Knowledge: Experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, compliance audits, and disaster recovery planning.

Cybersecurity Awareness: Practical experience in cybersecurity best practices, monitoring, and vulnerability management to protect systems and data.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
